Why choose an automatic cutting machine

At present, clothing manufacturers are transitioning from manual cutting to automatic intelligent cutting, and many large clothing companies have successfully transitioned to fully automatic cutting. However, there are many different types of garment fabric cutting machines on the market, and there are many cutting machine manufacturers. Generally, there may be the following types of cutting equipment.

1. Straight knife cutting machine

Straight knife cutting machine is a kind of electric cutting machine commonly used at present, commonly known as "electric shears". The structure and transmission principle of the straight knife cutting machine are relatively simple. As shown in Figure 3-16, the straight knife cutting machine with automatic sharpening device is mainly composed of motor 1, bracket (cutter box) 3, chassis 4 and presser foot. 5. It consists of operating handle 2.
When working, hold the operating handle and turn on the motor switch to align the blade with the cutting line, and then gently push the mobile electric scissors. The motor makes the scraper linearly reciprocate up and down at high speed through the crank slider mechanism, and the edge of the scraper contacts the cloth. It was cut open. The straight knife cutting machine can cut any curve with a certain radius of curvature, which is convenient and simple; the disadvantage is that the blades reciprocate up and down. When moving up, the blade will lift up the fabric, causing cutting errors. In addition, the inertial force easily makes the machine tremble, which makes labor intensive.
The working mechanism of the straight knife cutting machine includes a cloth cutting mechanism, an automatic knife sharpening mechanism, a presser foot mechanism and a centrifugal starting mechanism. The cloth cutting mechanism is driven by a crank slider mechanism, as shown in Figure 3-17. The crankshaft 4 in the figure is mounted on the motor shaft 5, through the connecting rod 3, the straight knife 1 mounted on the slider (knife holder) performs linear reciprocating cutting motion in the sheath 2. The blade can cut twice. Increase the speed by changing the number of stages.
2. Round knife cutting machine

The circular knife cutting machine adopts the rolling shear principle, and uses a uniformly rotating disc paper knife to cut the fabric. Since the round knife only rotates in one direction, the fabric will not be lifted during the cutting process, the cutting work is stable, and the cutting efficiency is high.

The round knife cutting machine is mainly composed of round blade 4, motor 1, handle 2, chassis 3 and so on. The motor and the chassis are connected together by a bracket, and the rotation axis of the round blade is supported in the center of the bracket. The motor is driven by a pair of bevel gears to make the round blade rotate at high speed. When working, hold the handle 2 and push the electric scissors to move on the cutting table to cut the cloth.
The cutting efficiency of the circular knife cutter depends on the speed of the motor and the diameter of the circular blade.

3. Belt knife cutting machine
The belt knife cutting machine generally consists of a belt knife and a knife wheel, a belt knife tensioning mechanism, and a knife sharpening mechanism. Its working principle is shown in Figure 3-19. The endless steel belt 3 is stretched around the four cutter wheels 1. The first two cutter wheels are arranged vertically so that the steel belt passes straight through the cutter plate 2. When the belt wheel rotates at high speed, the steel belt (opening) has a cutting edge) and periodically moves. When working, the cloth is placed on the machine table 4, and the cloth is manually moved with a knife to contact the blade to cut out various patterns of workpieces.
Since the blades of straight knife cutting machines, round knife cutting machines and band knife cutting machines are exposed to the outside of the machine, and the working speed of the machine is relatively high, it is also manual cutting, so you must pay attention to safety during work to prevent the knife edge from touching the body cause some damages.
Fourth, automatic cutting machine for apparel fabrics

The garment fabric automatic cutting machine is much more advanced than the above-mentioned cutting equipment. It mainly realizes intelligent cutting through automatic software control with high cutting efficiency. The advantage of high precision can greatly improve production efficiency. It is currently the first choice for large apparel manufacturers.
